Gyroscopes

The rotor of a gyroscope is a homogeneous cylinder 120m in diameter and has mass of 160kg. It is mounted horizontally midway between bearings AB 200mm apart as shown in figure Q15. The rotor is turning at N=400rev/min in a clockwise direction when viewed from the rear.
