Follow these guidelines in layout for your action plan and use the headings below for each section:
- Goals: Describe your goals within the structural divisions of higher education.
- Institution: Describe the type of higher education institution (public, for-profit, et cetera) in which you aspire to be working. This type of institution should be an environment where you feel there is a fit for you and how you want to develop professionally.
- Action Plan: Create an action plan that addresses current gaps in knowledge, experience, skills, and disposition. The action plan needs to be based on the core competencies of the position you identified in the paper, Core Competencies.
- Self-Reflection: Integrate a self-reflective narrative on how this action plan responds to trends in higher education and relates to the selected specialization within higher education leadership.
